How to manage the Agency Area
The Agency Area allows agencies and freelancers to access their clients' accounts after joining SendPulse's partner program.
In this article, we will talk about how to enable the Agency Area, invite clients, and manage their data.
What is the Agency Area?
The Agency Area is a dedicated workspace for SendPulse partners to manage client operations. It is designed for marketing agencies, freelancers, CRM integration experts, website designers, and marketing professionals who provide their services through SendPulse.
Key features of the Agency Area:
- Access to client accounts. You can request access to client accounts and perform actions on their behalf without needing their login credentials.
- Performance tracking. The Agency Area allows you to monitor key metrics, including the number of clients, total earned commissions, and performance over specific periods of time.
- Earning commissions. You earn a percentage of the pricing plan fees paid by your clients. Your commission rate depends on your partner status and can be 30%, 40%, or 50%.
- Client management. Add or remove clients, manage their account access levels, and top up their account balances directly through the Agency Area.
Enable the Agency Area
To become a partner and gain access to the Agency Area, submit an application to join SendPulse’s partner program.
Once your application is approved, you'll receive a confirmation email. Go to your agency settings by clicking your profile picture and selecting Agency Area.
Enable two-factor authentication to log in to client accounts.
Once you click Enable 2FA, you will be redirected to the Security tab in your Account settings. Turn on the Two-factor authentication toggle, and choose how you want to receive your login code — via SMS or Google Authenticator.
Add a client to the Agency Area
Go to the Agency Area and click Invite a new user.
You can invite both existing and new SendPulse users.
Inviting an existing SendPulse user
Enter the email address of a user you want to invite, and click Send an invitation.
An email will be sent to the user's email address requesting access to their SendPulse account.
Inviting a new user
Enter the email address of a user you want to invite, and click Send an invitation.
Fill in the additional fields and click Send an invitation again.
Share the value of the Password field with your invited user. This is the password to their SendPulse account.
This user will receive an email prompting them to confirm registration and share access to their account.
If this user approves your access request, you will be able to view their account's balance and pricing plan.
Accounts with pending requests or revoked access appear with the Request approve
status.
To resubmit an account access request, click Request again.
To cancel an account access request, click Cancel. This action will remove the user from your list.
Manage agency access levels
Clients who have granted access to their accounts through the Agency Area can also revoke or limit it.
This option is available only if you access your client's account using their login credentials, not through the Agency Area.
Your client can go to Account Settings > Users. In the dropdown menu, they can select Revoke access or Edit role.
When managing an agency’s access levels, a client can select a role, mailing list access level, and global account access level and click Save.
Manage client accounts
In the Agency Area, you can see your list of invited users. To find specific clients by description or email address, click Filter and type in the criteria.
Switch between accounts
To log in to a client account, сlick Log in next to their name.
If you have logged in to a client's account through your agency account, click the account icon in the upper right corner and select Return to agency account.
Top up clients’ account balances
To transfer funds from your balance to another account, click Top up, type in an amount, and click Add funds.
Edit clients’ data
To add a personalized client description, next to client, click on the three dots and click Edit this description. Add your description and click Save.
This description is visible to all invited team members with access to your agency.
Your description will appear under the client's email address and name, and you can edit or delete it later. You can also filter clients by their descriptions.
Your client's name is shown as it appears in their SendPulse account.
Add to favorites
You can also star certain clients to pin them to the top of your list. This feature is particularly useful for agencies with a large number of clients.
Next to client, click on the three dots and select Add to favorites. Alternatively, you can hover over a client's avatar and select the star icon.
Stars are visible only to users who add them — they will not be applied to other team members' lists.
To remove a client from favorites, remove the star from their profile picture, or select Remove from favorites from the dropdown menu.
Remove a client from your agency
To delete client and remove an access to their account, click on the three dots and select Delete.
View key agency metrics
To streamline agency management, you can monitor your performance directly in the Agency Area.
This information is organized into the following sections:
Commission rate |
Your current commission rate on all paid pricing plans used by your Agency Area clients. Depending on your partner status, it can be 30%, 40%, or 50%. Contact your partner manager to learn how to upgrade your status. |
Reward |
Your accrued commissions on clients’ purchased pricing plans. Your partner manager determines the exact reward amount you can withdraw after you submit a payment request. Click Request withdrawal and select a payment method and reward amount. |
Performance |
Your number of clients and accrued reward amount. Select a period of time to view the data (1, 3, or 6 months). |
Request a withdrawal
Rewards are earned when your Agency Area clients purchase paid SendPulse pricing plans.
Rewards are eligible for withdrawal 30 days after they are credited. As for semi-annual and annual pricing plans, commissions are paid in installments within 6 and 12 months, respectively.
You may request up to two withdrawals per day.
To request a withdrawal, click Request withdrawal and fill in the form:
Email addresses | Type in the email address at which a partner manager can contact you. By default, your account email address is used. |
Preferred amount |
Type in a withdrawal amount. You can request to withdraw your full balance or a partial amount. Your partner manager determines the exact reward amount you can withdraw. Submit a request, and they will get back to you via email. |
Payment method |
Select a payment method. In Brazil, you can withdraw rewards using Pix. In Ukraine, you can withdraw rewards using PayPal or bank transfers. If you have selected PayPal as a payment method, in the next field, type in your PayPal account email address. |
Review your completed fields and click Send a request.
