Which custom field types you can configure

You can collect data on your website and establish connections with leads using form fields in the Form, Payment, Login widgets. Use selection controls to get specific answers from website visitors or allow them to upload files to get more information.

Depending on the element you add to your website, you can select the following types of fields.

Entry field Used to enter up to 255 characters of text. The user can enter text up to 255 characters. For example, you can store a value about the user's city or other personal information.

You can also add a placeholder.

Name Used to enter a username. You can also add a placeholder, for example, the "First and last name" text.
Phone Used to enter a phone number. You can also add a placeholder, for example, the phone number format +10891234567.

You can also turn on the Use dynamic mask toggle if you want to determine a user’s location based on their IP address.

Address Used to enter an address. You can add a placeholder, for example, the "City and Country" text.
Date Used to enter a date in the MM/DD/YYYY format. Users will also be able to select a date from the calendar available in the field.
URL Used to insert a link. You can also add a placeholder, for example, the https://example.com format.
Checkbox Used to select one, multiple, or none of the provided options. The system passes the yes value if a user selects your checkbox. If the user does not select it, the system passes the no value.

For example, when subscribing, users can select one or multiple options to receive news, discounts, and event invitations from your company.

You can also use checkboxes to get clients’ consent to data processing and add links to your privacy policy and more.

To add a link to your checkbox, select a word or phrase, and click the hyperlink icon. In the modal window that appears, enter your link in the Link field. You can also enter a hint in the Title field and set your link to be opened in the same or a new tab.

Radio buttons Used to select one of the provided options. You need to add text to the Text field to display it to users, and enter a value that will pass to the CRM service fields.
Drop-down list Used to select an option from the list. Website visitors will see a list of options with values from the Text field. Values from the Value field will be added to your CRM system or mailing list fields.

If you have selected a List field in Deal field in CRM, field values ​​from the CRM system will replace it, and you will be able to choose which values ​​will be set by default.
If you have chosen a list with multiple selections enabled, the user will be able to select several options at once.

Hidden field Used to assign a value to every user who fills in your form. This field is not visible to users. The system will assign the values you specify in the settings.
File upload Used to add a file, for example, documents files or photos, presentations, videos.

The maximum size of all files is up to 500 MB.

Textarea Used to collect up to 5,000 characters of text user input.

You can add a placeholder and transfer data to the Notes field of your deal, contact, or both in the CRM system.

You can also transfer the first 255 characters to your mailing list.

Number Used to enter any numeric value into a field.

Values from all fields are stored in the deal and contact field in the corresponding data type.

For Contact field in CRM and Deal field in CRM, you can only select fields of the same type. For example, for a Date field in a website form, choose a Date field in the CRM system. If the CRM system does not have a field with the required data type, you will not be able to select the field.
