How to connect an SSL certificate to a domain

Available with a paid pricing plan, as well as during the 7-day free trial

An SSL certificate provides an encrypted connection between the user and the site.

Clicks on http:// links that are not protected by a certificate are flagged by browsers as untrustworthy and suspicious.

Clicks on https:// links with a certificate are marked by browsers as reliable, and a green lock showing a secure connection appears in the address bar.

When you add your domain, SendPulse automatically generates an SSL certificate for it. SendPulse automatically redirects all traffic on websites with an enabled SSL certificate from http:// to https://.

Please note that it can take up to 24 hours to generate and connect SSL certificates after activating DNS settings.

If you need to add your certificate, go to the site settings in the General tab, and next to your domain, click Add your certificate.

Fill in the information in the Certificate Body, Private Key, and CA Chain Certificate fields.

When issuing an SSL certificate, most services put all the SSL certificate installation files into an archive and send it to their users via email. To fetch the required installation data, check your inbox after getting your SSL certificate or contact the service's support team that issued your certificate.

If you have lost the private key for the certificate or your private key is compromised, you need to reissue your SSL certificate.
